Fantastic site! You had a clip of Daria singing. I tried to show it to a friend of mine who knows Daria and i couldn't find it. Did you take it off Facebook?
Hope all is well and, forgive the senior moment, her name will come back as soon as I sign off! There was a time I remembered her name and not yours! Happy New Year to the two of you.

Happy New Year, Laura. Just stopped by your webpage to see what new CDs you might have. I am going back to South Sudan soon so need another "fix" of your most excellent music to keep me sane and happy overseas. Thank you for your of song and guitar. Means a lot to me. Best, Phoebe McKinney (from Hearts and Hands Guitar Camp, more than a few years ago, I am afraid!). Cheers!

Laura,
I enjoyed hearing you this evening at the Stephens House song circle. Thank you for being willing to play a short set to our Special Needs clients.
At last weekend’s Island Music Festival at the Island Music Center in Rolling Bay, I got the idea of doing several very short concerts for the Special Needs clients from the Stephens House and also invite the High School Special Needs classes and the Adult Living Program students. I would like to do it at the Island Music Center in Rolling Bay because of the nice stage, the nice seating, and it would be an trip to someplace different for our clients. Our normal hours are 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, so it needs to be within that time frame. I was thinking of Tuesdays from 11:00 – 11:30. That would normally be our Arts and Crafts period at the Stephens House. Would that time be good for you? Which day would be best for you?

Hello Laura, just a voice from the past. Glad to see you are doing your music. Just in case your memory has faded, we worked together for ABC School district ( Cerritos and Gahr high school). We lived in Seattle for 12 years then we relocated to the Netherlands, where we have been for 4 years. I hope this finds you in good health, and that life is treating you well.
Sincerely

Hi Laura, my husband (a bluegrass afficianado, banjo player and banjo builder) attneded your concert at Boulevard music. I just wanted to thank you for the two cds you so generously gave to us in the audience. As you all were playing I was trying to figure out some way to get my husband to buy one of your cds for me; early Christmas gift or birthday, maybe? Anyways, thanks for the unexpected blessing. -June Koukl

Nice music! But where are the t-shirts? No offense, but I like obscure things. A silk screened t-shirt of Laura Silverstein would have most people scratching their heads and with the few who got it we would share a moment of understanding.

Laura, great to hear your music, see your photos, and learn more about you and the group's progress. It's been over a decade since we attended the Bluegrass Camp in Leveland Texas, and I'm glad that even from here in Santiago Chile I can keep in touch and enjoy the wonderful music you are making. All the best, Artie.

Hey Laura -- Thanks ! You are a teacher of the finest kind. I've been putting the things you taught me in "Freight Train". You are amazing. First, you found the teachable moment, clearly identified what I could add/learn, and you stuck with me while I got it. Your lesson has totally revitalized my practice! No more playing just to keep the finger callouses. I've got something new to add to the old routine. Refreshing.
Also, your coaching at the NW Women's Music Camp made our performance possible. It was just what we needed. That meant a lot to my friend Susan.
I hope our paths cross again.
