Hey Laura -- Thanks ! You are a teacher of the finest kind. I've been putting the things you taught me in "Freight Train". You are amazing. First, you found the teachable moment, clearly identified what I could add/learn, and you stuck with me while I got it. Your lesson has totally revitalized my practice! No more playing just to keep the finger callouses. I've got something new to add to the old routine. Refreshing.
Also, your coaching at the NW Women's Music Camp made our performance possible. It was just what we needed. That meant a lot to my friend Susan.
I hope our paths cross again.

I was recently introduced to Laura and her awesome guitar and banjo playing at the Northwest Women's Music Camp. I really enjoyed her playing at our song circle jams. Her playing really added energy and joy to the jams, not to mention the lively rhythm. I look forward to hearing her again in person.
