            <description><![CDATA[When I tell people I play "fingerstyle guitar" some people are a bit confused.  Fingerstyle guitar is a style of playing that involves picking the strings with the fingers, similarly to classical guitar playing.   The fingerstyle guitarist often plays complete compositions of tunes, including the melody and bass lines played together.    It is most often a style played as solo instrumental music.  Styles reflect elements of blues, ragtime, country, gospel, rock, jazz, and original music.]]></description>
